Larkin L. Canington (Business Development Officer)

Currently, Business Development Officer for BVFR & Associates, LLC, an investment banking and financial services company headquartered in Baltimore.

Founder and Vice President of Baltimore Steel Partners, Inc. (BSP, Inc.—www.bspsteel.com) a Baltimore-based business solutions company since 2003, focused on North American steel consuming customers through direct representation of world-class steel producers.

Previously, National Sales Manager for Bethlehem Steel Corporation until Bethlehem was acquired by Wilbur Ross for International Steel Group (ISG) in 2003. At Bethlehem, he had national responsibility for sales of plate products from Bethlehem Lukens Plate Division; national responsibility for marketing and sales of steel products to major OEM consuming customers such as GE, Trane, Electrolux and other global manufacturers.

Other commercial leadership roles at Bethlehem included Regional Sales manager in Baltimore, Product Marketing Manager for Plate Products at Burns Harbor Steel Division and various sales assignments through the years.

Prior to joining Bethlehem in 1992, he was President of CSI Services, Inc. in York, PA, a prominent mechanical contractor in Central Pennsylvania.

Larkin holds a BA in Business and Economics History from Vanderbilt University, where he also played 4 years of football. Attended the Executive Program at University of Michigan and Leadership School at the Fuqua School of Business, Duke University.

He and his wife, Tammy, have been married for 27 years and have 2 children.
