Tonya McGee (COO)
Tonya McGee is Chief Operating Officer with BVFR & Associates, LLC, a privately held, minority owned investment-banking firm in Baltimore, Maryland, engaged in creative financing for the benefit of clients in the public and private sectors. She has served in this capacity since 2007, after heading up the firm’s Pennsylvania operations for 4 years. At BVFR & Associates LLC, Ms. McGee handles all aspects of day-to-day operations as well as structuring and syndicating and executing loans for small to medium businesses in more than 15 states and has been directly involved in over $250MM in deal placement.
Ms. McGee’s initial record of distinguished entrepreneurial pursuit was a sales professional with Mary Kay Cosmetics where she reached the Director of Sales level and earned a FREE CAR and managed a group of over 30 women. She is also the current President of Town & Country Day School in Harrisburg, PA, a joint venture with BVFR’s CEO Attorney Lawrence that was funded with a $1.25MM USDA Community Facilities Direct Loan that carries a 40-year fix rate of 4.25%. The school provides day-care and early childhood education to kids from low to moderate income families. Her life experiences have culminated in a career of giving and educating those around her with aspirations of creating a healthier and happier universe.
Ms. McGee is also giving back to her community by her serving on the Board of Directors for Embracing Arms, Secretary 2008-Present; My Covenant Place 2006-Present
She was recently recognized in 2009 as a Central PA Forty Under 40 Top Business Executive for her work at BVFR & Associates, LLC.
